We are excited to announce that RedotPay’s Pay-out feature is now available in Brazil. With this new feature, users can send cryptocurrency directly to local Brazilian bank accounts, where it will automatically be converted into Brazilian Real (BRL). Alongside our crypto cards, this new functionality makes it easier than ever for crypto holders to access their funds in the local currency, without the hassle of complex conversions or third-party services.

Why This Feature is Important for Users in Brazil

Brazil, like many Latin American countries, has seen a rise in the adoption of cryptocurrency as a hedge against inflation and a method for cross-border payments. However, one challenge for crypto users has always been the ability to convert their digital assets into fiat currency in a seamless and straightforward way.

RedotPay’s Pay-out feature addresses this need, providing several key benefits:

  • Effortless conversion: The system automatically converts cryptocurrency into BRL, removing the need for manual conversion or the use of external platforms.
  • Cost-effective: By cutting out middlemen, RedotPay reduces transaction fees and exchange rate losses typically associated with traditional payment systems.
  • Security and Compliance: The feature is fully compliant with local regulations, ensuring that all transfers are safe, transparent, and traceable.

This functionality is a game-changer for anyone in Brazil looking to quickly convert their crypto into fiat currency for everyday use, whether for freelancers, cross-border workers, or those who need quick access to cash.

How to Use RedotPay’s Pay-out Feature in Brazil

Getting started with the Pay-out feature is simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open the RedotPay app and go to the Home page. Tap “Send”, then select “Bank Account” to enter the pay-out page.
  1. Choose your preferred cryptocurrency (USDC, USDT, ETH, or BTC) and enter the amount you wish to send. The system will automatically calculate the equivalent value in BRL.
  2. Tap “Add Recipient”, and enter the recipient’s details, including bank account information and CPF.
  1. Review your order and confirm to proceed with the payment.

Transfers are typically completed within 10 minutes, though processing times may vary depending on network congestion or bank processing times.

Important Notes:

  • Currently, only Brazilian Real (BRL) is supported for Pay-out. We are actively working on adding support for other currencies and countries.
  • Supported cryptocurrencies for Pay-out include USDC, USDT, ETH, and BTC. Minimum transfer amounts may vary depending on the selected currency—please follow the on-screen instructions for details.
  • During the launch, the $1 USD transaction fee is waived, so it’s a perfect time to try out this feature at no cost.
