First Launching in Brazil, Eyes Expansion to Other Regions

HONG KONG, June 2, 2025 — RedotPay, a global crypto payment fintech serving over 4 million users, announces a partnership with Circle to use Circle Payments Network (CPN) for payments into Brazil. Through this collaboration, RedotPay users can now send cryptocurrency directly to Brazilian bank accounts, with funds automatically converted into Brazilian Real (BRL) upon arrival.

CPN connects financial institutions worldwide to enable cross-border payments with real-time settlement. This integration advances RedotPay’s mission to make global payments more accessible for underbanked populations by significantly reducing transaction costs and eliminating the traditional one to five business day settlement period typically associated with international transfers.

As the first step of the CPN integration, RedotPay launched the new “Send Crypto, Receive BRL” feature. Removing friction from cross-border payments, RedotPay’s new feature will enable instant and seamless crypto-to-fiat deposits to Brazilian bank accounts, offering a subsidized $0 fee structure during launch.

“By integrating with Circle Payments Network, RedotPay is addressing two major pain points that have historically hindered cross-border payments in emerging markets: For users, the process has been slow and costly with high foreign exchange rates and handling fees. Transaction success rates have also been inconsistent. For Payment Service Providers (PSPs), capital has often been trapped in prefunded accounts with different PSPs or banks across multiple countries,” commented Michael Gao, CEO & Co-Founder of RedotPay. “We are pleased to deliver a new stablecoin-based payment solution that effectively resolves these challenges. With our launch in Brazil, we remain committed to deliver innovative payment solutions that are faster and more affordable, so as to drive mass adoption of crypto payments and empower families and businesses to participate seamlessly in the global economy.”

“A fragmented cross-border payments system has long been a burden for households relying on traditional systems with high fees,” said Sunil Sharma, VP of Product at Circle. “We designed Circle Payments Network as a foundational coordination protocol for the always-on economy to connect financial institutions who share our vision of empowering emerging economies and modernizing the global financial system. This is the next chapter in Circle’s evolution, and RedotPay’s customers will now have access to frictionless global payments.”

The partnership comes shortly after RedotPay successfully secured a $40 million Series A round to accelerate global crypto payment solutions. RedotPay users can access the new Brazil payment corridor through the RedotPay app, available on iOS and Android.
