We’ve Expanded Our US Licensing Footprint, Obtaining Two State Lending Licenses

We’re pleased to announce that Red Dot Lending (US), LLC has received approval for its first two state lending licenses, a Regulated Lender License in Idaho and an Installment Loan Company License in Nebraska.

These licenses are strategically important as we build the regulatory foundation for our future launch in the United States.

What this means for our global expansion

These licenses will allow us to offer certain lending products in Idaho and Nebraska upon our future launch in the US. They’re part of a broader effort, with more than 20 license applications underway in other states.

We believe investing in regulatory compliance will allow us to grow responsibly while safeguarding our users. This commitment is central to our strategy of building sustainably on a strong regulatory foundation.

Over the past few months, we’ve reached a series of regulatory and compliance milestones, including a US state-level money transmitter license and completing an independent review of our anti-money-laundering controls by a “Big Four” firm. We’ve also met international standards for data and information security including ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certification.
